  1. Announcements:
    • Students should stand for the Pledge of Allegiance, then listen QUIETLY to the announcements while they update their planners.

    • Write two academic goals for this week, top of page 84!

    • Finish charting the text using the following verbs for the "doing side" for paragraphs 9-17:

    • Mark the Prompt using the following guidelines:
      1. Circle the directives.
      2. Underline what you are supposed to do.
      3. Number the different topics or ideas you are asked to write about in the order that makes sense to you and your reader.
      4. Place a box around the intended audience if it is stated or write it down if it is implied.
      5. Write the name of the sources you are being asked to use next to the prompt.
